Medical Co-hypnosis

Hypnosis is an effective tool for patients undergoing medical treatment, before and after surgery, and to treat symptoms. It is used in the treatment of fibromyalgia, pain symptoms, dental surgery, cancer, diabetes, hypertension, and lifestyle management, among others.

Addictions

The most commonly treated addictions are smoking, alcoholism, illicit drug abuse, and gambling, but there are countless types of addiction, some of which relate to modern technology.

Post-traumatic stress disorder

Any phobia and anxiety disorder can effectively be treated. Most commonly treated phobias are:

  • Fear of flying;
  • Agoraphobia
  • Socially related phobias

Most commonly treated anxiety disorders are:

  • Generalized anxiety disorder
  • Panic disorder
  • OCD

The most common mood affective disorders are depression and bipolar disorder shortly described below:

  • Major depressive disorder — prolonged and persistent periods of extreme sadness
  • Bipolar disorder — also called manic depression or bipolar affective disorder, that includes alternating times of depression and mania
  • Others are: Seasonal affective disorder (SAD), Cyclothymic disorder, Premenstrual dysphoric disorder, Persistent depressive disorder (dysthymia),Disruptive mood dysregulation disorder, Depression related to medical illness, Depression induced by substance use or medication.

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a disorder that may occur in people who have experienced or witnessed a traumatic event such as a robbery, a natural disaster, an accident, terrorism, war/combat, violence, threats, sexual violence, rape or serious injury.
